“We didn’t realize then, but we were in the midst of a revival. God moved in mysterious and miraculous ways, reaching the unsaved among the churched and unchurched in the city of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Profound transformation in people’s lives, from addictions, drugs and lifestyles. The joy that this transformation brought was so great that it changed the way of worship, from traditional to more free and spontaneous. In the process, guitar and drums were added in the church services. The positive aftermath was retained by the local churches from different denominations.”
