January 22-23, 2016

World Mandate is a conference for anyone who wants to worship God and change the world. We are everyday people: students, artists, teachers, businesspeople and missionaries from all over the world who simply believe we can see the Kingdom of God established on earth in our generation.

Every year at World Mandate we experience dynamic worship, compelling teaching and powerful encounters with God that inspire and equip everyone to pray, give and go — regardless of location, vocation or calling.

United by our passion for Jesus, fueled by His love for the world and motivated to follow Him anywhere, we will all leave World Mandate 2016 more aware of the amazing things God is doing in the earth and how we can be a part.

This year we’re taking the conference to multiple locations for one amazing weekend. With a live conference in Waco and six satellite locations featuring live worship in each session and speakers streamed by video, we will connect across the nation with one goal – to worship God and change the world.

Online registration closes at 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, January 20th but tickets will be available for purchase at the door. The price at the door for the live location will be $120 and satellite locations will be $60 (Boston will be $70) and Saturday lunch will not be included.

  • Francis Chan has a passion to see the next generation of American Christians display more radical love for Jesus in words and in deeds. He is the author of New York Times bestsellers Crazy Love and Forgotten God. Francis and his wife Lisa live in Northern California with their seven children.

  • Jimmy Seibert is the founder and senior pastor of Antioch Community Church in Waco, Texas and serves as the president of Antioch Ministries International (AMI). Jimmy and his wife Laura co-authored Parenting Without Regrets, which was released in October of 2015. He is also the author of Passion & Purpose and co-authored The 3 Loves with Larry Kreider. He and Laura have five children and believe the local church is the hope of the world and are passionate about missions and discipleship.

  • Bekele Shanko, was born and raised in Ethiopia and currently lives in Orlando, Florida, with his wife Shewa and their four children. In 1993, Bekele accepted God’s call for full-time missionary service with Campus Crusade for Christ in Ethiopia. Since then he has attained several degrees and has held diverse leadership roles for Campus Crusade for Christ: National Director for Ethiopia for five years; Regional Director for Southern and Eastern Africa (23 countries) for 11 years; and currently Global Vice President for Campus Crusade for Christ, responsible for Global Church Movements that focuses on building movements of multiplying churches and faith communities worldwide.

  • Jim Yost along with his wife Joan, left for Irian Jaya (now called Papua), Indonesia in February of 1977. After a short period of Indonesian language study and culture adjustment, they pioneered a church planting work among the northern Sawi and Asmat tribes located in the southern lowlands of Irian Jaya. After three years of investing their lives, Jim and Joan saw God’s Spirit come and visit their village in a spiritual awakening that ushered hundreds of people into God’s Kindgom. A church was born and continues to grow to this day. After 17 years in an interior tribal location, Jim and Joan, along with their three daughters, moved to a coastal town called Sentani where they are now involved in cell church planting among troubled youth, who are migrating in large numbers to coastal cities, as well as to prostitutes, prison inmates and broken families. The power of God to transform broken lives has been evidenced in a church of 700 people being birthed in the town of Sentani, as well as other church plants into four other cities in Papua. Living with Jim and his family in Sentani are around 30 children all of whom come from troubled backgrounds discovering in a family setting a new self-image in Christ. Jim and Joan also now have a son, adopted at birth. Because of the growing number of disasters in Indonesia in recent years, Jim and his daughter Amy, who now manages their free medical clinic in Sentani, travel out with emergency response teams immediately following the floods, earthquakes and tsunamis that are occurring more regularly. Jim’s growing burden is to catalyze disciple making movements in Papua, throughout Indonesia and beyond. He is actively involved in training cross cultural workers as well as ones for newly emerging churches throughout Indonesia and South East Asia in principles of rapid multiplication and has sent many Papuan “missionaries” out to be a blessing to the Nations!

This is a tentative schedule and will be finalized as we get closer to the event. All times are Central.

Since 1989, World Mandate has grown, changed locations and hosted many different speakers, but our heart and vision has remained the same - to dream big and believe this generation can change the world through the love of Jesus! With incredible leaders such as Max Lucado, Christine Caine, Louie Giglio, Francis Chan, Floyd McClung and Jackie Pullinger, World Mandate has consistently presented speakers from around the world whose lives encourage and challenge us to continue to worship God and change the world.

Our prayer is that World Mandate will serve as a catalyst for you - not only in your walk with God, but also for your city and the nations of the world.
